Background and Claims

During our trip to Iowa, we did a short day trip to the Hitchcock House.
This home was built by Rev. George B. Hitchcock in 1856 with the intention to provide care and comfort to escaped slaves who were travelling to Canada.
A secret room was installed in the basement, which can be accessed from the kitchen and an outside entrance.

Investigation
Investigators: John and Mark
John and Mark arrived before the home was open for tours, so they never went inside. They walked the grounds until it started to rain, but before leaving, John sensed a young family of African Americans under a large tree close to the farm fields. He had a feeling that the spirits were fleeing in the night, heading towards the home, which was a stop on the Underground Railroad.
